Jessie Burkoth the 5 days 4/5’s Teacher graduated from Eastern Illinois University where she earned her Bachelors degree with a concentration in biology and Elementary Education certification. As a first year teacher, she furthered her education at Concordia University where she accomplished her Masters degree in School Administration. Jessica spent ten years teaching mostly first grade in School District U-46. She resides in St. Charles with her husband, two sons and twin daughters. After spending several years at home with her children she subbed and later became a classroom pre-k teacher at a local preschool. When she’s not in the classroom she loves adventures with her family, working out, holistic remedies, chasing her dogs and backyard chickens, and cherishing the simple things life has to offer.   WHAT I ENJOY MOST ABOUT WORKING AT ST. MARK’S:  Teaching in an environment that allows me to freely share my love for learning and faith with my students.
